STEPS TO PPSA ACCREDITATION

The PPSA method ensures each Accredited Member adheres to the PPSA Code of Compliance and equal codes of ethics, and it firmly establishes that company within the framework of a successful contracting community. The process is simple, rigorous, rewarding, and is performed to the highest professional standards in the UK.

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

The PPSA outlines clear steps each applicant must take when applying for Accredited Membership status. The required are as follows:

STEP 1:
CHOOSING A REVIEWER

Firstly, applicants must select an independent reviewer for compliance checks. The independent reviewer will carry out all relevant checks to ensure each applicant is fully compliant.

STEP 2:
NOTIFY THE PPSA

Following your selection of an independent reviewer, you must notify the PPSA Chief Executive and pay the cost of compliance checks directly to the PPSA. The PPSA will then instruct the independent reviewer to review your company.

STEP 3:
THE REVIEW

The independent review process involves three key stages:

1. Self-Assessment: each applicant is asked to complete a questionnaire alongside the relevant document evidencing your compliance.

2. Sampling: each applicant is then asked to provide the independent reviewer with a list of workers, following which you will select a sample for review.

3. Site Visit: once your sample and documents are provided as evidence, the reviewer will visit your sit to interview the primary members of your team.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

You will receive a verbal indication on the day of the site visit if you have passed, that is considering they have received all applicable information to carry out the correct processes.

If further inspection is needed following the site visit, you will be informed.
